In the coming days, check your mail for information on fulfilling the Purim mitzvah of Mishloah Manot by honoring individual households.   Or, use the nifty online order form to send Mishloach Manot to the entire community or select groups.

Faith In Action
Dismantling Injustice in San Francisco
Thursday, February 21 from 6-9 pm

In this session, local rabbis invite members of their communities into the process of "Becoming Rod'fei Tsedek (Pursuers of Justice)," where they will engage community members to work on key skills for community organizing and on core justice issues in San Francisco.

RSVP's are closed for dinner.  Please feel free to come to the training if you have not already signed up.

Torah in the Flesh
Let the Torah Rhythm Dance in Your Soul!

David Cohen Tzedek is delighted to offer a Torah cantillation class for Or Shalom members and friends who wish to lend their hearts and voices to continual Revelation. Learn the Ta'amim--the musical flavors--of scriptural Hebrew, and take your first steps towards becoming a Ba'al/at Kri'ah, towards practical ownership of the Torah text in service of the community. Hebrew reading proficiency is prerequisite. Please contact David with your interest or questions.

Or Shalom Accepts Car Donations!

Car donations are an easy way to support Or Shalom, providing you with a tax write-off and Or Shalom with additional funds for our community. We take care of the DMV paperwork, pick up your car, sell it at auction, and then send you a receipt for the full amount the car is sold for. It's that easy! We can also accept trucks, boats, motorcycles, and RVs.

For more information or to begin the process, contact Jerry Robbins at [email protected] or (650) 766-7233 and be sure to reference Or Shalom Jewish Community, San Francisco.

Thank you to Lisa Garbus & Adam Goldberg for their recent donation!
