Over The Past 5 Years
85 families served (115 adults, 196 children).
21,000 shelter nights provided.
51 families reentered the community into their own housing.
85% of families stayed housed for at least one year after leaving us.
14 congregations provided volunteers to host and serve meals.
Kirkwood Promise House, our first transitional house, opened in 2015.
600 food boxes distributed to walk-in clients and graduates since the launch of our Food Box Program in 2016.
Graduate Resources and Continuing Education Program (G.R.A.C.E.) launched in 2017 providing assistance, mentoring and educational opportunities to our graduate families.
The Giving House,our second transitional house, opened in 2018.
Together, we have made a significant impact on this community.

Affordable housing continues to be one of the greatest barriers to stability.

Some opportunities are with:
Events (organizing, communicating, fundraising, writing thank you notes).
Development (writing grant proposals, fundraising campaigns).
Administration (volunteer data entry).
Housing (repair, maintenance and organization).
Graduates (communicating with graduates, organizing events).

Our 2018 graduate fun day at Sky Zone Kennesaw reunited over 12 families for an evening filled with socializing and support.
Our aftercare program provides additional assistance, mentoring, resources and support for graduate families.
