PTO
Conference Meal Donations Needed
Please join us in taking care of our teachers during their conference days by signing up to provide them with meals for their long days. PTO will be serving Chick Fil A chicken for both evenings. If you would rather give a cash donation instead, PTO will use that money to purchase remaining items needed for breakfast and dinner for both days. Items may be dropped off in the office. Thank you for your help and support.
Book Fair Volunteers Needed
PTO is looking for someone to chair/co-chair the Spring book fair March 11-15 (and possibly co-chair the fall 2019 fair). This would entail: being present at both open and close of the fair each day; set up and clean up of the fair; placing stock reorders on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday mornings; filling in vacant shifts at the fair; completing the financial report for Scholastic at the close of the fair; and working with the PTO treasurer to send in payment to Scholastic. If you can commit to helping out please email us at  goldrushpto@gmail.com  or talk to Mrs. Golish in the library.
Do you enjoy Western Night, Digger Dash, the book fairs, and Sock hop?
All of these events (and more) are run by the Gold Rush PTO!
As we approach the end of the school year, it is time to elect a new PTO board. Our current board members have been in their positions for over 2 years - and some will no longer have students at the school.
Now is the time to step in to help plan and run these events. Open positions include: Treasurer, Co-treasurer, and Secretary. Without a board there can not be a PTO - and these events will end.
Come to our meeting on March 5th at 8:45am
or email us at goldrushpto@gmail.com  to join the board or get more information.

Stone Canyon Spring Break Camp
Stone Canyon is partnering with the Zoology Foundation to offer Spring break camp!

Registration is now open for our two-day Animal EdVenture camp, hosted by Stone Canyon Outdoor EdVentures and the Zoology Foundation. Here campers will get to feed a couple of lovable Camels, dance with Toogie the Tortoise, and get up close with a variety of animals. The Zoology foundation is home to alpacas, sheep, goats, ferrets and so much more! Campers will learn about these fantastic animals each morning, and then in the afternoon, they will head down the road to Stone Canyon. At Stone Canyon, we will provide lunch, play games, shoot archery, and hike around our beautiful 99-acre property. We are offering two different camps. The first camp is for 7-9-year-old campers (M-TU) and the second camp is for 10-12year olds (W-TH).
