Tommy Keegan, owner of Keegan Ales, is by most people's standard, a veteran of the craft beer world. After recently celebrating their 15-year anniversary, Keegan Ales continues to keep customers coming in the door year after year with their classic stouts, golden ale, and IPA's.
Hours: Tuesday-Wednesday 4pm-10pm; Thursday 4pm-12am; Friday-Saturday 11:30am-12am; Sunday 11:30am-8pm

Family owned and operated since 1965, Deising's bakery has created quite a name for itself over the years, with two locations, one in Midtown and their main hub in Uptown Kingston. Offering over 400 different kinds of baked goods wholesale and retail, a restaurant, cake decorating, and catering services, you'd wonder if anyone ever gets a break. But as well managed businesses do, Deising's always gets the job done, and this "old world" style bakery wouldn't have stuck around as long as it has if they weren't great at what they do.
Hours: (Uptown Bakery) Monday - Thursday 6am-5:30pm; Friday 6am-6pm; Saturday 6am-5pm;

In an effort to get back to distilling, Gable Erenzo, former chief distiller of Tuthilltown Distillery partnered with local producers to build the Gardiner Liquid Mercantile. Distilling from the fruits of Dressel farms, the Mercantile is a cozy bar/restaurant/farm shop selling "hyper-local' products. As a business created for the community and by the community, the Liquid Mercantile is a place where you can frequently find local producers enjoying some downtime and surrounded by people who love what they do.
