2018 Community Menorah Lighting

Location: Historic Downtown Wilmington at the intersection of Water and Market Streets
 
Join the community for the lighting of the Menorah.  The event will include music, dancing and refreshments.   
The 46th Old Wilmington by Candlelight Tour
Date: Sat, Dec 1- Sun, Dec 2

Get into the holiday spirit with the 46th Old Wilmington by Candlelight Tour! Celebrate Wilmington's history by following the luminaries to historic homes and houses of worship, all of which will be beautifully decorated for the season! Travel back in time as you visit spots of historic and architectural importance to our city and enjoy an Edwardian Christmas at the Latimer house complete with costumed guides and holiday-themed refreshments.

Tickets are $40 at the Latimer house. Reservations can be made at any time by emailing [email protected].
1st Annual Holiday Beer and Wine Festival to Benefit Step Up For Soldiers

Spend an evening enjoying l ight hors d'oeuvres, door prizes, raffles for elite beer swag, and 70 different offerings of beer and wine from over 15 different Breweries and Vineyards while raising money for Step Up For Soldiers.
  
Tickets include 30 tastings and three "Swag Drawing" raffle tickets. Admission is $25 in Advance or $30 at the Door. Only  200 tickets available so reserve yours now! Additional Raffle tickets available for $5 (Cash Only) each or 1 unwrapped toy for the Toys For Tots Donation Box.

bringitdowntownlogo The Bring It! Downtown Marketing Campaign was created to help market and rebrand downtown Wilmington and to define a universal image for downtown that all businesses can embrace and utilize to create a unified message. 

 

Ultimately, the campaign's goal is to encourage locals and visitors to spend more time in historic downtown Wilmington through branding and education.  By educating people on the ease and abundance of parking and the many options for entertainment, we can convince people to make downtown their destination.  Watch a Video.
