I hope this finds you having enjoyed a pleasant Presidents' Day this past Monday. Please remember that we recently released student progress reports for the third marking period. If you have a student at CCHS and still have not reviewed their results, please do so as soon as possible.
We are still working towards a 20% participation rate on this year's parent survey. We need a large enough sampling to make the combined results helpful to our school improvement plans. If this applies to your household, kindly take a few moments to complete the anonymous survey today. Your help is greatly appreciated.

CCHS Choirs earn Superior ratings
This week our choirs had their Music Performance Assessment, or MPA. There, they are adjudicated by three judges for their stage performance. After performing, they are given music which they have never seen, to sight read on the spot for another judge.
All three choirs received a Superior rating!
Our two auditioned groups,
Varsity Choir and
Concert Women, received straight Superiors and
Varsity Choir received a humbling standing ovation. Our
Freshman Women's Choir received two superiors, one excellent, and a superior in sight reading.
Please congratulate our choral students as they represented Cypress Creek with maturity, passion, and musicality. Thank you to Dr. McHale for his support and passion for the performing arts!

March 6: SAT School Day (ALL 11th Graders and 12th Graders who have not passed FSA ELA and/or Algebra 1 EOC)
March 11-13: Performance Matters Assessment (PMA) Block Schedule (For students in any of the following classes: 9th Grade English, 10th Grade English, US History, Biology, Algebra 1, and/or Geometry)
