Dover City Hall Auditorium, 288 Central Avenue, Dover
Festival of Trees will feature over 30 trees, elaborately decorated by local businesses and organizations, to be auctioned and raffled off to benefit the Greater Dover Chamber of Commerce City Lights Committee. The event also includes live choir performances, children's activities, holiday carols, refreshments and more! And new this year, Santa Randy will be visiting the festival from the North Pole! The Woodman and Pine Tree Pop-up Present the 4th Annual Holiday Artisan Faire
From Now until December 23rd
Thom Hindle Gallery, 15 Summer Street, Dover
Presented by the Woodman Museum and Pine Tree Pop-up, the show features a curated selection of handcrafted work by forty New England-based fine artists and craftsmen, representing a diverse range of mediums with styles ranging from traditional to contemporary. The Artisan Faire will be each Friday, Saturday and Sunday until December 23 (10:30-4:30pm). The opening night (Nov. 23, 5-7pm) will feature drinks and light refreshments. Additionally, every Saturday will feature an artist demonstration from 2-4pm. A great stop for locally made gifts!

The 33rd annual Christmas Tree Lighting in Henry Law Park will be held on Friday, November 30th, at 6 p.m. Bring a weather-appropriate ornament to hang on the tree and join in the caroling led by Joyful Voices and Nancy Gurick. After the ceremony, Santa and Mrs. Claus will make an appearance and speak with the children.

Breakfast with "St. Nicholas"

'Tis the season for holiday fun with families! Waffle bar (plus extras with Chef Tim), activities for children including cookie decorating, and of course the visit with St. Nicholas in person. Come and learn about the tradition of St Nick. This is a fun family activity! We find that many grandparents enjoy bringing their grandchildren and parents enjoy the non-commercial way of celebrating St. Nick (aka Santa) in a safe church environment. The feast day of St Nicholas is December 6th, so this early Christmas event helps set the mood for the other preparation in celebrating the birth of Jesus toward the end of the month. Admission is $5 per person or $20 for family to help us cover our costs. There is also a small Christmas market of crafts including the popular "Santa-Cam" ornament that you can purchase for yourself or a parent who could use a few extra eyes this holiday season! Christmas is for kids of all ages so please do come and have breakfast with us!

Rollinsford's historic Colonel Paul Wentworth House will be decked out in festive attire for a Holiday Open House on Saturday, December 8. The public is invited to drop in between 4 and 6 pm to raise a toast to the holiday season and enjoy candlelight, light refreshments and seasonal music in an 18th century atmosphere. Admission to the Holiday Open House is free although donations are welcomed. In addition, guests will be able to browse for unique gifts for children and adults in the Wentworth House gift shop. The circa 1701 Wentworth House is located on Water Street in Rollinsford, NH and is maintained by the nonprofit Association for Rollinsford Culture and History (ARCH).
