On Friday, October 19, Florida Secretary of State Ken Detzner approved and released the 2019-2020 DCA grant recommendations for all four DCA grant-funding categories:

IMPORTANT Americans for the Arts Info to Share, Know, and Use in Your Local Advocacy Efforts



a.  Quick look at AFTA  Grades for Florida's members of Congress


b.  AFTA on September 27 released the results of its new Ipsos Public Opinion Survey.  More than 3,000 American adults over the age of 18 were polled and the new results provide the latest insight on topics that include 

1.  support for arts education,
2.  government arts funding, 
3.  personal engagement in the arts, 
4.  the personal benefits and well-being that come from engaging
     in the arts, and 
5.  how those benefits extend more broadly to the community.

Florida was one of eight states that participated in this new survey.
