What day is it?? Yes, it's Wednesday and time for your weekly update and a congratulations to those who have school aged kids. You've made it half way through another school vacation week! Cid has been having fun with the kids so far and we've still room for Friday's Friends and Family Movie - Ralph Breaks the Internet.
If you have a teen that is part of the Teen Social Group a reminder that we will not be meeting this month on Wednesday but on Thursday Night at the Center for the expanded Teen Pizza & Game Night. We're hopeful that we'll add some new members to the group this month.
School vacations often mean travel and for families with autism that can be a challenge. The Charles River ARC has a program, "Wings for Autism" meant to help kids understand and practice the procedures at airports for boarding a plane, which makes a plane trip less of a challenge. I'm happy to report that they will have an event on April 6th at Logan Airport. If you are planning a trip for the future I'd recommend this program, many of our families have benefited from in the past. Act quickly as the programs do fill up! Scroll down for the details.
Hang in there and have a great week. Next week I'll have your spring newsletter ready for you.
