Get Your Thinking Caps On: PTA Science Fair
The Walt Disney PTA Science Fair is coming soon! On Friday, April 19, from 6pm – 8pm , we will gather together in the MPR to see original research and design projects developed by our very own students.

The Science Fair is a voluntary participation project for grades K-5. Students choose a topic to research using the scientific method. A project is presented both by oral report and poster presentation. Students can participate by themselves, or in teams up to 3 students. Students may present projects in the following categories: life science, physical science, earth & space science, environmental science, behavioral science, and engineering & design.

Please have your child think carefully about what they would like to do before registering. Changes to the project topic or team (if working in a group) cannot be made after the registration deadline of April 1, 2019 .

Details about online registration for science fair will be provided in the coming weeks, so please check your newsletter for updates!

We are also looking for parent volunteers for our committee to plan, judge, and provide other assistance. Please direct questions to Sonia Pawlak if you are interested in volunteering. Next year will be my son's last year at Walt Disney, and it would be great to have a co-chair start to learn the ropes for this event!

Questions? Contact Sonia Pawlak , PTA Science Fair Chair
