Shovel Award
Congratulations to Karen Hart, the recipient of the 1st Annual Golden Shovel Award. Karen's yard has a picturesque array of perennials, native plants, specimen trees and more. Karen is a lifetime gardener who has spent 17 years cultivating her beautiful herbicide and pesticide-free yard. Great job Karen!

General Election
The General Election is November 3rd.

Registered Voters can request an absentee ballot be mailed to them through October 29th. The button below will take voters to MyVote.wi.gov to request a ballot. Click "vote absentee" and follow the prompts. Absentee ballot will begin being mailed out on September 17th.

Absentee ballots can be returned by mail or put in the absentee ballot drop box in the City Hall parking lot.
Recycle Right
Waukesha County officials are encouraging residents to "Recycle Right" by refreshing their recycling knowledge and ensure only acceptable, loose recyclables are put in curbside containers.

of the Month
Congratulations to our August Business of the Month, Paws In. It is a dog and human boutique that benefits Canine Cupids. Canine Cupids is a foster home based rescue supporting homeless, neglected, and exceptional needs dogs in the greater Milwaukee area.

Citizen of the Year
The Mayor's Office is accepting nominations for the 2020 Citizen of the Year Award. The nominee must be a citizen of the City of New Berlin, and achievements must be recent or ongoing.
