Men's Basketball
In an inner-district and conference showdown Thursday night, the No. 2 in state Hornets swept past the Cypress College Chargers on the road 67-55. Up Next: The Hornets (24-2 overall, 9-1 OEC) play at home this Wednesday, Feb. 20 against Copper Mountain College. Tipoff is at 5 p.m. Come on out and support your Hornets for this one!
Women's Basketball
The FC women's basketball team did it again Thursday night when they shocked first-place Cypress College 82-76. Up Next: Fullerton (16-10 overall, 8-4 OEC) will be back in the Hornets Nest on Wednesday, Feb. 20 at 7 p.m. when they host Copper Mountain College.
Men's Tennis
Fullerton won 9-0 yesterday at home against Imperial Valley College in a non-conference match. Up Next: The Hornets (4-1 overall) will play today at Mt. San Antonio College at 2 p.m.
Women's Tennis
The Hornets pulled off a 9-0 win over Imperial Valley College on Tuesday. Up Next: FC (2-0 overall) will play today at home against Cerritos College at 2 p.m.
Women's Soccer
Hornet sophomore Brianna Remedios signed with Eastern New Mexico late last week. A two-year captain and starter for Fullerton, Remedios was twice selected to the All-Orange Empire Conference team. For her career, she led FC in goals at 18 with 9 assists. Her speed, power, and ability to break away from defenders are impressive. The Hornet's overall record the past two seasons with Remedios is 24-12-7, the best in the program's history.
Men's Volleyball
The FC men's volleyball team won their first game of the season last Friday at home against Grossmont 3-1. Up Next: FC (1-5 overall) will play Wednesday, Feb. 20 in the South Gym home at 6 p.m.
Track and Field
The Fullerton College Athletic Department honored Olympic Athletes Rick Sloan and Doug Nordquist for the inaugural Track & Field Wall of Fame. The wall is located on the Field House (1700 Building) facing the track and will feature both Sloan's and Nordquist's plaques immortalizing their athletic achievements.
