A Message from ORES Principal Denise Francisco
Oak Ridge Community,

We want to thank our amazing PTO and the Hospitality Team for the awesome “Souper Bowl” lunch that they provided on Friday, February 1st. There must have been 20 crockpots full of delicious soup and the staff was well fed and quite happy! If you shared a yummy soup with our school on Friday please know how much it was appreciated!

Please make sure to check your child’s bookbag for the 2nd Quarter Report Card that came home this past Friday, Feb. 8th. Please use the white card to share any comments or feedback to your child’s teacher and then sign and return the outer brown envelope. If you would like to schedule a follow up conference with your child’s teacher, please let the teacher know.

We have a special birthday to celebrate on Monday, Feb. 11th. Mrs. Debbie Fox in our front office will be celebrating her special day. We all know how much she does for our entire community so please join me in wishing her a very Happy Birthday this coming Monday.

Next week is Love the Bus week! If your child rides the school bus in the morning or afternoon, we would like to thank you for using our bus system. When students ride the bus, it allows us to be the most efficient each morning and afternoon with arrival and dismissal procedures. Please be sure to share your love with your school bus driver next week during Love the Bus Week Feb. 11-15.

Please remember that Class & Club Picture Day is scheduled for Tuesday, Feb. 12th.

Thank you,

Mrs. Francisco
