 Re-Enrollment 2019-2020 Begins March 4th!
Re-Enrollment for currently enrolled Scottsdale Prep students will begin at midnight on March 4th thru March 29th. We would like to make this process easier on our families this year and will dedicate parking spaces marked in the front of SPA for parents turning in their student's Re-Enrollment packets from 7:45am-8:15am and 2:30pm-4:00pm.  Parents dropping off their packets in the afternoon are welcome to pick up their students in the front foyer. Please click here to sign up for your time slot.  

In order to ensure that all documents in the packet are completed, we ask that parents carefully review the checklist, submit a copy of their residency documentation, and verify all required signature pages have been signed prior to their appointment.

The process will involve the following steps:
  • Log into the enrollment portal and complete the questions.
  • Download and print out single-sided 
  • Sign appropriate pages
  • Include a copy of  AZ residency supporting documentation
  • Parents may drop off completed re-enrollment packets prior to the start of school and after school each day.  
We have set aside Wednesday, March 6th to remain on campus until 6:00pm to take in packets after the end of the school day for parents who would like to drop them off after their work day.  If you have any questions please contact Patti Lopuszanski at [email protected]. 
Tax Credit is FREE MONEY for our school!
Our recent Middle School extracurricular performance of Alice and Wonderland was outstanding, and YOUR Tax Credit dollars helped make that possible! Thank you for your support! Did you know that there is no money out of your pocket when you make a Tax Credit contribution to SPA?  If you owe state taxes, your contribution to SPA reduces what you owe. If you are due a refund, your contribution to SPA is added to your refund. No money out of your pocket!  
TC + 1 is in FULL SWING and our grade levels are competing for an R-n-R weekend! The grade level in Middle School and High School that has the highest participation will win an R-n-R weekend!!! Parents, you can help spread the word to friends, co-workers and family members. Many people are looking for ways to reduce their state tax liability! We have the perfect solution: MAKE A $200 OR $400 contribution to SPA!!!

  • Thank you to all SPA families and students who attended January and February's drug awareness presentations. For those of you who could not attend, our speaker, Stephanie Siete with Community Bridges, has graciously provided her slideshow.  Please go to spapso.org to view.  
  • Seniors and Senior Parents:  Volunteers needed for Parents Night Out Saturday February 23rd from 5-10 pm.  The more volunteers we have, the more Archway students we can have sign up.  This is a fantastic fundraiser and a fun event.  Please click the link on the SPA Senior Page under Academy Life or click here Parents Night Out.  Thank you, Kim Gleason [email protected] or  (480)220-8510.
  • 10th Grade and other interested SPA Families: This month the Teacher Appreciation Committee will be ringing in the Chinese New Year with a luncheon on Friday, February 22nd hosted by the 10th grade families.  Though this luncheon is hosted by 10th grade, we are grateful for help from anyone who is willing!  If you can lend a hand or send in the items requested, please sign up  here .  Email questions either through the sign up or to  [email protected] .  Thank you!

  • Thank you to Sandy and James Oh for hosting this month's gathering of the SPA Parent Wine Club. A wonderful time was had by all sampling everyone's favorite wines.

The Cinderella Affair
Do you have any dresses filling up your closet
space? If so donate it to the Cinderella Affair!
The Cinderella Affair gives donated dresses to teen girls who can not afford to buy a prom dress. So bring some joy to someone in need and donate your dresses! The donation box is located in the front office! Contact Kaylee at [email protected] with any questions

Bus Transportation Information
Bussing during the week of Barrett Jackson was a huge success and we had many parents asking about a possible bussing option on a more permanent basis. We are currently working with Transtyle to make this an option for the coming school year. Parents would pay a fee to Transtyle to utilize this option but when you consider the gas, time, and patience that goes into every trip to campus it works out to be an affordable option for most families.
This bussing would be available for ACS students and students at Scottsdale Prep in grades 6-8. (The busses would not be able to arrive in time for the high school start time.) Please watch for information inviting you to express your interest in transportation for the 2019-20 school year in the coming week.
