Chicago Fair Workweek Ordinance
The City Council is signing on to a new law that will make it difficult for employers to schedule flexible work schedules. This will be extremely difficult for small businesses who employ fifty or more individuals in the aggregate within a dwelling unit, residence, or any other location. Please join the coalition at
Work Your Way and write a letter to our local elected officials.

Drew Lovell & Courtney Hartley
"To say that Bonus Round Game Cafe (3230 N. Clark) is a labor of love is an understatement. We are Drew Lovell & Courtney Hartley, a husband and wife team that started this journey almost 5 years ago. We moved to Chicago to pursue our passion in creating the city's first board game cafe.
We love board games and believe in their power to bring people together and want to share that with as many locals and tourists as possible! We strive to create a welcome environment for both those not familiar with board games and to those who seek them out. Bonus Round Game Café is a place where guests won't feel judged for their lack of knowledge or skills, and will instead be met with fun and encouragement.
"I tried playing board games with friends, but they never really clicked for me. A few years ago, Drew and I were looking for new ways to spend quality time together. While on our honeymoon, we stumbled upon a board game café and into the world of 2 player board games. We were hooked! I finally found a game that I liked and had a "there's a game even for me!" moment. I want to help give others that moment, too!" -Courtney
We strive to create an environment where everyone feels welcome, and that isn't necessarily a bar. To that end, we DO offer a selection of craft beers, wines, craft sodas, high quality tea and a full espresso bar menu. As we come up on our 1 year anniversary, we're expanding our food menu, and celebrating with a month of special events."
