Giving is Thanking | Food Drive & Mission Offering
November Mission Offering: Brooklyn Delivers Turkey Drive
Brooklyn Delivers organizes ordering, packing and delivering food to residents of the Baruch Houses on the Lower East Side.
Plymouth Church is partnering with Brooklyn Delivers to purchase Thanksgiving turkeys for residents of the Baruch Houses. Our goal is to raise $4000 to provide turkeys for 100 families.

You can make a gift online, via mission offering envelope, or text PLYMOUTH TURKEY to 73256 to give to our Thanksgiving Food Drive using your text messaging. Standard text message rates do apply.

Thanksgiving Canned Food Drive
Plymouth Church is sponsoring a Thanksgiving canned food drive to benefit Brooklyn Delivers. Your donations will help to bridge the gap for needed food, particular for the holidays quickly approaching. Items needed: Cans of tuna, cans or jars of pinto beans, jarred peanut butter, boxes of granola bars, boxes of mac & cheese, cold cereal (Honey Nut Cheerios are favorite), applesauce (jar or individual size) oatmeal, and pasta sauce. Please bring your canned food items with you to worship on Sunday, November 18th, where you will place your donations on the communion table. If you are unable to attend service that day, please place your items in the collection boxes located in Hillis Hall or the reception area.

An Old Tradition is New Again
As Council President, Caroline Koster has revived the old Plymouth tradition of the monthly update of Council activities - modernized in the e-News. This month she comments on fluffy slippers, cats prowling on the building roof, harvest traditions, heat in the gym and more. Click here for the October installment in text or click here for an audio recording of Caroline reading the letter. Watch this space for more letters each month.
