The Town is working with UPLAND Planning and Design Studio to develop a new Recreation and Open Space Master Plan for Paradise. The goal of the Plan is to set a course of action for new or improved facilities, programs, parks, and trails, toward a long-term vision of meaningful, inclusive and accessible recreation opportunities for all citizens of Paradise.

To date, public input has played a key role in the Plan's development process. Engagement opportunities such as an open house, online survey, community meeting, and more have all helped guide the plan, ensuring the final product reflects what residents want to see, while enhancing personal and community well-being. We thank residents and community groups who have participated in this process, your input is helping shape our plan.
Video Surveillance Update
On January 15, 2019, an agreed order was issued by the Supreme Court on the Office of the Privacy Commissioner Report with respect to the video surveillance system for the Town of Paradise. The order states that the Town does not have to comply with the recommendations of the original report, that all cameras in public areas can continue to operate, and that seven cameras are to operate only after regular working hours.

We are pleased this matter is now resolved and the Town is able to maintain its video surveillance system. The safety and security of residents and employees and the protection of Town assets are of utmost importance to the Town of Paradise. A video surveillance system is an integral part of securing assets and protecting Town employees.

For the full statement, please visit our website . If you have any questions on this matter or would like additional information, please see our complete Video Surveillance Policy or email.

No vehicle is permitted to park on any street within the Town of Paradise from December 1 to March 31, inclusive, between the hours of 1:00 am and 8:00 am, or any time during a snowfall and for twenty four (24) hours thereafter?
