VETERANS DAY  CEREMONY
Friday, Nov. 9

Bassett's Veterans Day Recognition Ceremony is  Friday, November 9 at 8:45 am. Our theme is "Bassett Salutes Our Veterans."
  • Everyone is encouraged to wear red, white, and blue. Cub Scouts and Girl Scouts should wear their uniforms.
  • At the ceremony, our honored guest will be Mrs. Jennifer Eadeh, who served in the U.S. Marine Corps. Mrs. Eadeh is the stepmother of 4th grader, Malia Eadeh. The ceremony will also feature a processional and color guard of Bassett's Cub Scouts and Girl Scouts, songs, and much more.
  • Following the ceremony, there will be a reception for veteran guests and their families, including their students, in the cafeteria. Please note that while we are so grateful to have guests visit Bassett, visitation does not extend into the classrooms due to ongoing instruction. Thank you for your understanding.
If you plan to attend the ceremony but haven't submitted the RSVP form, or if you have questions, please contact Mrs. Clark ( clarkj@wlake.org  or 440.899.3075, ext. 2460).

  • If you are picking up your child at 3:00, please follow regular dismissal line procedures - cars should enter from Woodmill Dr. and form a line. The map is here
