The Wave
 September 21, 2018
Happy Friday! What a great week at TRCS. It was so nice to see all of our new families at conferences. Our staff truly enjoyed having the opportunity to meet with new students and their family members to celebrate successes and explore areas for growth. It is days like this that I realize how special the TRCS community is! I am really looking forward to getting the whole school together at Back to School Night this Thursday.

As many of you know, our theme for the 2018-19 school year is mindsets. I believe we can accomplish so much more than we think with the right mindset. Weekly, I will be adding a “mindset thought” to the wave so that our entire community can join us on exploring and adopting this theme in our lives. The quote below sums up growth mindset. We all face challenges and how we react to those challenges will make a difference on the outcome! Hope you all have an amazing weekend. See you Monday!

Team TRCS

“The passion for stretching yourself and sticking to it, even (or especially) when it’s not going well, is the hallmark of the growth mindset. This is the mindset that allows people to thrive during some of the most challenging times in their lives.”
