From the Desk of Ellen Knippel, Principal
Dear Parents,
Happy Valentine's Day!
We have had a few inquiries regarding our 2019 Grandparents Day. This year we are calling this special day KISS (Kids Invite Someone Special). We have found that some of our students don't have a living grandparent or they aren't in the area. We have allowed other "guests" in the past but we want everyone to feel welcome, so we are changing it up a bit! Please know that we still want to encourage our grandparent guests but want to leave the door open for others as well. The KISS day will be on Friday, March 15th, and our
KISS friends will begin their visit by meeting us for Mass at 10am.
Watch for details coming soon!
Finally, a reminder that Grades 2-7 will be taking the
ITBS standardized tests from March 4th - 8th. It is VERY important that students are in school that week.
Please try not to schedule appointments. Additionally, make sure students are here on time after having eaten a healthy breakfast and had a good night's sleep. It is really difficult to make up all of these tests. Students are assessed in all subject areas, so it is a heavy week of assessments. We appreciate your help with this!
Stay warm!
Blessings!

A Conversation about Sex Trafficking in OUR Communities
Tuesday, March 19 | 6:30 - 8:30 pm
@ St. Anthony on the Lake Catholic Church
W280 N2101 Prospect Ave., Pewaukee, WI 53072
Human trafficking IS modern day slavery and it's happening right here in OUR Communities.
Human Sex Trafficking is big business for organized crime and for local pimps. Its one of those crimes that are hidden in plain sight - meaning, most of the victims go to school, church and live in stable homes. It`s hard to see they are even a victim. Research shows that the average age of recruitment into the commercial sex industry is 12-14 years old and that victims come from every race, ethnicity and socioeconomic background.
Come learn how youth and adults are being coerced into slavery, why they can't see their way out, and how we can keep our families safe.
Keynote Speaker: Theresa Flores
- Best-selling author of "The Slave Across the Street," survivor of sex trafficking and nationally known advocate. Flores shares how she was enslaved at the age of 15 while living with unsuspecting parents in an upper-middle-class suburb.
Brad Schimel Waukesha County Circuit Court Judge,
former Wisconsin Attorney General
Paul Farrow: Waukesha County Executive
Followed by a Panel of Experts
ALL ARE WELCOME. Suggested Age: 13+
