Parents of High School Boys
Hello!
Registration is now open for AANE's new online support group series for parents of high school boys. The group will offer safe place for parents of high school boys to come together to share the challenges and celebrate the joys of being a parent of a high school boy. The group will meet for 8 sessions and is limited to 14 participants. Registration and payment for all 8 sessions are required in advance. Facilitator: Megan Brenk
Megan Brenk is a mother of two children, one of whom has an Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) diagnosis. Megan has been involved with AANE since 2016 when her son was diagnosed and has since increased her involvement with the organization as a volunteer supporting the online groups and conference planning committee. Megan is the co-chair of the Westwood Special Education Parent Advisory Council (SEPAC) and continues to educate herself on the best ways to advocate for her child.
