Family Spring Survey 2018
March 15, 2018
Dear School Families,
During this 4th Week of Lent, we are called to reach out to charity and learn to love like Christ.
Every Thursday our 8th Grade students take turns serving lunch at the local Loaves & Fishes dining hall. Their actions are a beautiful way to share the experience of God's unconditional love. The 8th graders also participated in a Prayer Service for Peace on March 14. Their messages of hope and love can be found on posters that are spread throughout the school. We hope that they inspire you to spread hope too.
Our 6th Grade students participated in "A Change of
Heart" retreat led by our wonderful alumni students and Ms. Paula Pardini, Building Bridges. The students celebrated each other with team building activities and small group talks on trust, acceptance, and God's unconditional love.
Today we had a special guest, Mrs. Shelly Brown, author of two wonderful stories about friendship, courage and compassion. We were blessed to have her visit our 3rd, 4th and 5th graders and hear her inspiring words on #CompassionInAction (CIA). She encouraged our students to show compassion because sometimes we don't know what others are going through. She reminded us to stick up for what's right and remember that everybody needs a friend.
Lent is a journey where we seek Him out and learn to love like Him. How are you listening to God's voice and call?
In Partnership,
Fely Fajardo
Interim Principal
POWERSCHOOL PORTAL CLOSED |
PowerSchool is a Web-based software application that allows teachers, parents and school administrators to track and share information about students. Teachers can use PowerSchools to keep a record of students' grades and attendance, which parents can then view at home by logging into a PowerSchools account.
The parent portal of PowerSchool is now closed. It will reopen on
March 24, 2018. The portal is closed for teachers to enter Trimester 2 grades, comments and Life Skills.
If you have questions regarding specific grades for you child, please contact the teacher directly.
