Remembrance Day Ceremony
The 2018 Town of Paradise Remembrance Day Ceremony will take place at the Town War Memorial (28 McNamara Drive) on Sunday, November 11. This  year marks the 100th Anniversary of the armistice to en d Work War I. All are welcome to join as we remember and honour the sacrifices of our soldiers.

The Parade of Flags begins at 10:30 a.m. with the official ceremony starting 10:55 a.m. The Ceremony will be followed by a reception at the Paradise Double Ice Complex.

In the case of inclement weather, the ceremony will be moved inside to the Paradise Double Ice Complex. For more information, please contact the Department of Recreation and Leisure Services at 709-782-6290.
Remembrance Day Closures
There will be delayed openings for Town recreational facilities on Sunday, November 11 due to the Town Remembrance Day Ceremony. Facilities, including the Paradise Double Ice Complex, will open following the Remembrance Day reception in the PRYCC at 2 p.m., at which time they will resume regular operations and rentals.

The Town Hall will be closed on Monday, November 12 in observance of Remembrance Day. The Paradise Double Ice Complex, including the Fitness Centre and Rotary Paradise Youth and Community Centre, will be open on November 12 for regular operations.

Please note that the Garbage and Recycling Collection Schedule moves ahead by one day next week. Please see below for your revised collection date:

The  Paradise Business Directory  provides info on businesses located in the Town of Paradise, and allows residents and visitors to search and sort places to avail of goods and services right here. Want to be in the Parade?
Calling all community organizations, groups and businesses! The Town is now accepting float entries for our Annual Christmas Parade. The 2018 Christmas Parade is scheduled for Sunday, December 10. 

Any group interested in getting involved and spreading the holiday cheer is encouraged to   email or call 709-782-6290. You can also find the Parade Entry Form and some additional information on our website

All parade entries must be registered before Friday, November 24. Please note that before entering the parade, you must provide proof of individual insurance.
Christmas card Contest
We need your help to design the 2018 Town of Paradise Christmas card! On the 2018 Christmas Card Design Contest Form, we want you to draw bright, festive, colourful, and original artwork to show what the holidays in Paradise means to you.

The contest is open to Kindergarten to Grade 6 students in Paradise. The winning entry will be the featured design for the 2018 Christmas Card. Entries can be dropped off to the Town Hall or the Paradise Double Ice Complex. Please remember to include your name, date of birth, mailing address, email address and contact number when completing the Contest Form. All entries must be received by Monday, November 26, 2018.
