"I Like Warm Hugs" was a classic line that the much beloved character, Olaf, said in the movie Frozen. I thought about that line many times over the past few weeks as ferocious weather hit us and many people struggled. I thought of the constant joy and optimism that Olaf had despite all obstacles. I also thought of his willingness to sacrifice to benefit those around him. And all these thoughts made me circle back to the amazing "Warm Hugs" that Haven Housing has been receiving from our supporters. Thank you for being a constant source of joy and encouragement to the staff and residents of Haven Housing! We hope you feel our "Warm Hugs" reaching back to you.

  • An Incredible Renovation of St. Anne's Place
CBRE, along with Greiner Construction and many sub-contractors, made much-needed renovations to St. Anne's Place. New flooring and cabinets and all new bedroom furniture and decorations are among the projects that CBRE and Greiner completed. The residents at St. Anne's Place loved the renovations and the children loved the beautiful murals that were painted! The families say St. Anne's Place feels even more like home now!

  •  Amazing Women-Led Donation Drives
Molly Jo and Katherine, Members of the Vikings Cheerleader Alumni Executive Board.
The Minnesota Vikings Cheerleader Alumni, the women of the HFMA Twin Cities (Healthcare Financial Management Association) and Universal Christian Ministries all collected an incredible amount of winter gear, feminine hygiene products, under garments, etc... for the residents of Haven Housing.  Thousands of dollars of in-kind goods were donated by the generous women of these organizations. Thank you so much!





  • Fantastic Holiday Meals for Next Step Housing Families
Gift Bags and handmade card from The Strobel Foundation
The Strobel Family Foundation along with Dawn Hofstrand and Plymouth Congregational Church provided a scrumptious Holiday Brunch along with gift bags for every resident.

  • Exciting Children's Carnival
Last week Annunciation Church's Youth Ministry (AYM) hosted their 7th annual carnival for the families of St. Anne's Place. The kids of St. Anne's Place had so much fun getting out and being doted on.  AYM provided food, gifts, carnival games and tons of fun! What a fantastic way to help the kids beat the winter blues!

  • Your Generous Support During the Record Breaking Cold
We had a generous $1,500 matching gift come in the last week of January to encourage people to help us meet the increased needs of our residents. You, our faithful supporters, rose up to the challenge and we far exceeded the matching gift. THANK YOU!
