Human Resource Notice:
Emporia Public Schools Transportation Department is seeking current staff for substitute or activity bus drivers. Available times include before and after school as well as evening and Saturday activities. The district would like to encourage teachers or classified staff who do not work 40 hours a week to contact Amy Larson at [email protected] if they are interested. If you are nearing retirement, remember these extra hours could possibly increase your final average salary which would then increase your total monthly KPERS retirement benefit.

Extended School Year Application:
Extended School Year (ESY) will take place this summer for selected students in the district. You must have a special education endorsement or be working toward one to apply for a teaching position. If you are interested in working this summer, please complete the Extended School Year Application form and submit it by March 1. If you have questions please contact Angela Harris [email protected]

Print Your W-2:
Employees who elected to print their own W-2 Wage and Tax Statements and 1095C Employer-Provided Health Insurance Offer and Coverage forms through Skyward's Employee Access can do so now. Click here for a tutorial. If you did not elect to print your own, your statements will be sent to your building at the end of January.

The December 15 paycheck was the first payroll with new deductions for the 2019 benefit plan year for classified and certified staff. The January 1 paycheck was the first payroll with new deductions for the 2019 benefit plan year for administrative staff. Please contact Erica Markley 341-2428 or Stephanie Morgan 341-2228 with any questions.
