New TDA Website Live
The COVID-19 pandemic has changed every aspect of our daily lives. With many of TDA's planned 2020 activities canceled, the staff took the opportunity to update the website, member email, and other communications.
Recent national polling shows that the pandemic has supplanted the economy as the number one concern for voters. However, the two issues are inextricably linked.
Transportation infrastructure is a building block of our economy and our communities. This truth came to the forefront during the early days of the COVID-19 health emergency.
Because of our transportation infrastructure and the employees that remained on the job to operate, build, and maintain it, vital medical personnel and supplies were deployed around the state, grocery shelves remained stocked, and our critical supply chain was maintained.
And transportation will play a critical role as Wisconsin reopens and our economy recovers.
Our goal is to present transportation leaders as community leaders and to frame the need for transportation investment not as another problem but as a solution and an integral part of our path to economic recovery.
It’s how we get there.
