Science Olympiad Team Advances to States
At last weekend’s Lower Hudson Valley Science Olympiad, John Jay students earned twenty-two medals in events including biology, chemistry, computer science, earth science, engineering, and physics—enough to proceed to the state competition.

"Competition was fierce," said Dr. Linda Burke, long-time coach of John Jay's team.

District Shifts to 100% Certified Green Electricity
As of February 1, 2019, all of the electricity used by the Katonah Lewisboro School District will be from renewable sources – wind, to be exact, generated by turbines in Texas. 

“This change will reduce the district’s overall greenhouse gas inventory by 13%,”said Mike Jumper, Katonah-Lewisboro’s assistant superintendent for business.
