Sample delicious food and drinks from area wineries, bakeries, food trucks, breweries, and local restaurants! Browse and shop all of the people and pup-friendly vendors!

The Northtown Subaru Dog Days of Kenmore is a fun, free event for canines and their people; a celebration of dogs and the enjoyment and interest they bring to our lives! The Dog Days excitement includes dog sports, contests with prizes, education and training, dog vendors and activities, treats for humans and canines, and much more! Well socialized, friendly dogs are welcome at the event; water and shade will be provided.

Spring It On!
PEF is participating in Spring It On this year!

"Spring It On" is a 24-hour online fundraising event designed to raise awareness and resources for nonprofit organizations in Erie County and Niagara County. The event seeks to mobilize citizens for one day of giving to strengthen and support our community. This 24-hour event encourages individuals in the community to make a one-time, secure, online donation to the local nonprofit agency of their choice and is powered by United Way of Buffalo and Erie County.

The event runs from 6:00PM on March 20, 2019 to 6:00PM on March 21, 2019.

Learn More About the Folks Behind the Scenes!

David Gurzak, DVM
Board Member

Dr. David Gurzak was born and raised in Buffalo and attended SUNY Geneseo for his bachelor's degree. He graduated from Cornell University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2012, and subsequently completed a year-long internship in Colorado. He worked in Buffalo for several years and then moved to Portland, Maine, but recently moved back to live in Hamburg. Dr. Gurzak works at Blue Cross Animal Hospital in Amherst.

Dr. Gurzak enjoys hiking, reading, running, and spending time with his family and friends. He has three cats named Sam, Beau and Magpie and dog named Stanley, who can be a huge headache. 
And in case you're wondering, Dr. Gurzak used to be Dr. Gurbacki. He and his husband combined last names when they got married in 2016!
