ADMISSIONS NEWSLETTER - NOVEMBER 2018
It was wonderful to see so many prospective families at Saint John's this fall for the Open House and Placement Test. If your student is interested in Saint John's but was unable to attend the Open House or Placement Test then please contact the Admissions Office at [email protected] .
Registration for the shadow program at Saint John’s High School is now open in Ravenna . The Shadow Program provides each applicant the opportunity to spend a day at Saint John's on select dates from December to April.
Students applying to the Class of 2023 must have taken the placement test, submitted an application and completed the shadow program information form in order to participate.

A shadow visit is designed to give prospective students the chance to experience Saint John's by attending a full day of classes as well as meet and interact with teachers and students. Students will be matched based on similar academic profiles and extracurricular interests. A request may be made to shadow a particular student, although it can't be guaranteed.
  • When: Select dates from December 2018 to April 2019
  • Location: Students should report directly to the Admissions Office, located at the main entrance of Conal Hall by the flag pole.
  • Arrival Time: 8:00am

GRANDPARENT'S DAY 2018
Grandparents of the Freshman Class of 2022 were invited to Saint John's to enjoy brunch and a campus tour from their grandsons. Grandparent's Day is a special tradition at the school and takes place in the fall each year. Each guest received a mug with the message "Grandparents hold our tiny hands for just a while, but our hearts forever." We look forward to welcoming the Class of 2023 grandparents in the fall of 2019!
ALL SAINTS DAY
The Feast of All Saints Memorial Mass on November 1st is the largest Mass we hold on campus each year. All members of the school community who have lost a loved one in the past year were invited to attend. A brunch for all invited guests was served in Salem Student Commons following the service.
VETERAN'S WAR MEMORIAL
The Veteran's War Memorial located outside of Salem Student Commons was blessed and dedicated on All Saints Day, November 1st. The names of Saint John's alumni who have made the ultimate sacrifice are etched on this beautiful new memorial.
