Dear Parents,

Thank you for all your support! February is off to a great start. It is hard to believe that we are halfway through the third quarter.

This week we sent out re-enrollment information for 2019-2020. Please do not forget to re-enroll by Wednesday, February 20. More information about re-enrollment is included below.

We are still collecting applications for the school commission. If you are interested in applying, please click here . The deadline to apply is Friday, March 1.

Re-Enrollment Instructions for 2019-2020

 In preparation for the start of 2019-2020, please take time now to complete your child(ren's) re-enrollment for next year.  The deadline is Wednesday, February 20.
 
To complete our online re-enrollment process, you will access our ParentsWeb through your existing login. To access ParentsWeb:

  • Please go to renweb.com. Our district code is stmi-tx.
  • Select Logins from the menu bar and ParentsWeb Login from the drop-down menu.
     
  • Type in your username and password.  If you have forgotten your username or password, please click on the link provided.
     
  • After logging in, click on the Family Information button in the left menu.
     
  • Click on the Enrollment/Re-enrollment button.
  • You will now be given an option to start enrollment packet or to choose will not enroll if you are not planning to return next year. 
  • Our Online Enrollment system will open with a link to the enrollment packet for your child.  The online process should take approximately 15 minutes to complete.  Your information will be saved if you need to quit and come back later.
  • The Instructions and Enrollment Checklist page of the enrollment packet contains supplemental enrollment forms that also must be submitted, if applicable.  
 
Tuition assistance

 
S t. Michael Catholic School offers tuition assistance. Parents must complete the on-line application on the Catholic Schools website:
Applications are processed and reviewed after each application deadline. St. Michael Catholic School families are awarded tuition assistance from the school. Notifications about tuition assistance are sent out by the business office in early April 
and then again in late June.

Please note the following: In order for the application to be considered for either round, all documents requested by FACTS must be submitted PRIOR to the above deadlines.

The 8 th grade students will hold
a bake sale to raise funds for their class gift to St. Michael's Catholic school. The "Class of 2019" will raise money to purchase a picnic table to the  courtyard 
as the gift. 
Please send cash with your child! Thank you for your participation and helping our eighth graders reach their goal.

The bake sale will be held on  Tuesday, February 12. All items will be sold for $2.

Valentine Parties
Our room parents have been busy planning Valentine Parties for the different classes. Your room parents should be reaching out with details pertaining to your child's class. All parties will be held on Thursday, February 14th at 2:15 pm.

Steps for Students
A huge thank you to our chairs Rachel Brady & Kari Vanek along with Monica Berckley who have worked tirelessly to make this such a fun event for our families. 100% of the proceeds go back to the school. We look forward to seeing so many of you on the course showing our Tiger Pride on Saturday, February 16th!

Art a la Cart
Our next AALC lesson will be Thursday, February 21st for grades K-3rd. If you have not yet been a docent please consider signing up. Our AALC chairs provide a script for you to follow making the teaching component easy and all the children love having their mom or dad lead a lesson!

Call for Candidates

If you feel a strong personal commitment to the mission of
St. Michael Catholic School, please think about sharing your talents with us by applying to be part of our School Commission. Three new members will be appointed to replace three who are retiring.

Selection of School Commission members is based on a two-step process. Candidates are first requested to complete an application ( click here). Following review of the applications, the School Commission will select candidates to participate in a discernment interview. 

The application deadline is Friday, March 1. 2019
