This is an opportunity to gather with other practitioners and share what is going on, ask questions, and receive support. It is also a time for both meditation and receiving Reiju and, of course, this is all followed by an exchange of Reiki.

There is a parking lot used by surfers and fisherman as well as others, opposite the front entrance of Asbury Tower, to the left of the boardwalk, which you can use FREE.
There are also parking spaces all around the building
which have parking meters.
Also a block down any side street, there is open parking.
It is a couple of blocks north of 404 5th Ave. where we use to have it and you can easily see the tall building from there.

At the Reiki Retreat at Pendle Hill last September with Frans Stiene I met
Nathalie Jaspar who I learned wrote a small book called "Reiki as a Spiritual Practice : An Illustrated Guide."

This is a wonderful book. First of all Nathalie writes from her own personal direct experience of having practiced these meditation practices. We can know something intellectually, but to really understand what the practices are about, we need to do them on a daily basis. Having woken with Nathalie over the years in my classes and retreats, I have seen how she has grown and developed a solid personal practice. This can be seen in her beautiful artwork. The drawings provide clear instructions on how to practice. There are many ways of teaching: we can teach in an auditory way, in a kinesthetic way and in a visual way. Nathalie's imagery is stunning, simple and to the point, which makes it easily understood by visual people like me.
I hope you will enjoy this book as much as I do and that it brings you a deeper understanding of the system of Reiki and how to practice.

The human system produces the most profound medicine naturally within. Qigong and Tai Chi are time tested tools for activating this incredible human capacity. In the park every morning in China, millions of people practice forms of Tai Chi and Qigong that are very simple, and targeted toward basic energy enhancement and healing.
The First Promise of Qi is:
Qi is free and it is everywhere and everyone has direct access to it through simple methods that are easy to learn and practice. Qi can be cultivated purposefully to resolve any challenge or enhance any function.
The second promise of Qi is:
Every person who uses Qi cultivation methods consistently experiences some form of health improvement and personal access to greater energy and power.

These 10 classes will focus on simple practices to restore and nurture a healthy balance throughout the body, enhance vitality, strengthen and calm the nervous system, still the mind and rejuvenate the mind and body.
Tai Chi Easy is carefully developed method and approach to Tai Chi that makes it easy, beneficial and fun from the very beginning. The student does not have to devote years to learning the traditional 108 movement form or even the shortened (24,36,42) form to enjoy the calming emotional and health benefits of Tai Chi.

OPPORTUNITY FOR EXPERIENCE
Some of you are aware of Christian Brothers Academy administered by the De La Salle Brothers in Lincroft, New Jersey. On the grounds of the Academy they also have a Nursing home for their brothers. I was speaking to Brother John McMahon not too long ago, who is on the staff there. We had a common interest in Reiki and he asked me if any of my past students would be interested in offering Reiki to the brothers who are at the Home. I said I would share this invitation with you. It is a good opportunity for those of you looking for experience (and you would be in a friendly and appreciative atmosphere).

ACRYLIC PAINTINGS
Kelly, a good friend of mine, is an animal lover, an animal communicator, a Reiki Practitioner and does beautiful Acrylic Paintings of pets. A number of years ago I adopted a special cat, Sammie, from the SPCA, who died two years after settling in with me. Kelly as a gift to me did a portrait of him, as shown below and it is something I cherish. Kelly claims he is one of her most beloved subjects. She did this from a picture I had of him.
