PTA Highlights
Hello Parents,

Happy Friday!

Please note that our deadline is approaching for the School Directory.  All families need to please go to RIVPTA.ORG to update your contact information by Friday, September 28th.  Even if no thing has changed - you still need to confirm it as we will be going to  print for the hard copies in October.  If you join the PTA you will get access to the online Directory.  Don't forget to download the app for access on the go!  (Membership Toolkit).

The School is also asking all families to login to School Dismissal Manager by the end of September to manage absences and dismissal information for your children.  This system will be used to gather
pick up information in the case of an Emergency Early Release,  so it's important that all families establish a login.  There's an app for managing this on the go as well!

And finally, we would like to mention an important safety issue at school - parking during the afternoon pick up.  There are orange cones around the school that need to be respected around cross-walks.  Additionally, please pay attention to signs on side streets as to where you can or can't park.  Only park in a designated parking spot in the school parking lot.  There have been some situations recently that have created a safety hazard for our kids.  Please build in extra time to arrive at school for pick up to find a legal parking spot and walk if needed.  You can find our procedures for pick-up and drop-off - " Rules of the Road " on the PTA website.  Please ensure that all babysitters and family members who help with pick up and drop off have been given this information.

Thanks for helping keep our kids safe!   Enjoy the weekend.
