Happy Friday!
In our last newsletter, gold had finally broken the $1,300 barrier. Two weeks later, it has not only maintained that level, but it has crept up to $1,315. On the silver front, the spot price, which got down to $13.97 less than three months ago, is poised to crack $16, achieving a 14% gain in less than a quarter. Impressive!

Palladium is now 66% above its mid-summer trading level.

We are always buying, selling and trading. We've also been watching intently as our senior partner has gone all in on a new, private auction platform. He keeps talking about how great it's going so I thought I'd try to get my feet wet. If you have anything to consign (coins, bullion, currency, even high end baseball cards, music memorabilia, jewelry etc.), we're making this offer to our first 50 consignors:  we will cut our commission to only 5% (vs. the 10-15% hammer fee that most auctioneers charge). And - we won't charge you for shipping to the buyer or ding you for credit card fees to process the payment. ZERO EXTRA FEES! Just 5% off the top. Please call or email for details (yes, you can set a reserve!).

CERTIFIED COIN SPECIALS
Please keep in mind that we go through hundreds and hundreds of rare coins every week to find the four fresh beauties we feature. To qualify for our newsletter, all must be well below price guide and have sensational eye appeal (or a good story about why they're so ugly). All of this is to say that we have many more great coins that we don't have room to feature here. Anything else in particular that we can show you?

1953 PROOF QUARTER - PCGS certified PR68 DCAM

My partners have requested that I only use "clean" language in these newsletters, so I can't repeat what came out of my mouth when I saw this gem. What I can say is that this is the nicest proof quarter I've ever seen.

This Deep Cameo (DCAM) Washington Quarter is the highest known grade, with PCGS certifying only sixteen 1953 proof quarters as PR68.

JUST IN:
As I type, we've just acquired a perfect PROOF 70 2001 Platinum Eagle (one oz., $100 face value). 2001 is the 3rd rarest date, so it is very unusual for us (or anyone else for that matter) to have a 2001 one oz. PF 70 Ultra Cameo in hand.

2001 $100 PLATINUM EAGLE - NGC certified PF70 ULTRA CAMEO

Price guide is a rock steady  $3,500  (unchanged for years)
I've checked our leading competitors. They don't have a 2001 for sale. I checked eBay - no recent sales (but they do have a few listed for an average price of $3,055).
Your price: only $2,459
Exact coin pictured - FIRST COME, FIRST SERVED
