A message from our Security Manager

Safety Drills: On Tuesday, October 30th we conducted our first lockdown drill of the new year. (We have had various other practice safety drills this school year.) The rooms were secured and the students moved quickly and quietly away from the doors and windows and out of sight. As in all of our school safety drills, our teachers help the students remain calm, relaxed and secure. Our entire faculty and staff participated in school safety and security re-training workshops this summer conducted by school safety experts. They are an important part of our school safety and security team.

Important reminders and updates: Please do not arrive early to the afternoon dismissals. This creates several problems with our business neighbors. Do not stage at the Enzian or in the Dominoes’ lot.

This year’s arrivals and dismissals have been going extremely well. However, we still ask that parents traveling north on 17-92 not to turn right on the red light at Magnolia. This prevents the parents in the southbound turn lane from being able to turn when they get the green arrow as traffic on Magnolia backs up.

If you have any questions please feel free to email me at: jjohnson@parkmaitland.org or call (407) 647-3038 x248. Thank you in advance for your cooperation, and lets all work together to ensure the safety of the students, parents, faculty, and staff of the Park Maitland School!

Celebrate your Super Senior by purchasing a yearbook dedication! Ads can be purchased and designed directly through Balfour's yearbook ad maker.

We are partnering with Balfour to offer an exclusive 10% discount on Full Page ads for Super Seniors! This special deal is available now until November 16th!

Please note: Ads will go on sale to all other grades on November 17th, and will be 5% off until December 31st!

We had over 40 costumes donated last year and every single one of these was used by 5th grade students or parents this year! If we could get those costumes returned, and if anyone else would like to donated their costume so that we can continue to grow the collection, that would be greatly appreciated! Costumes can be returned to the front office. It is helpful if they are in a bag with Adult or Child and a size labeled on the bag somewhere. Ms. Pollack will be collecting them from the front office and continuing the process we started this year with next years 5th graders.
PICTURE RETAKE DAY - TUESDAY, NOV 6th
If your child was absent on photo day, or you are not satisfied with their first photo, there will be a retake day on  Tuesday, November 6th . Please have students bring their proof packet to the photographer for a retake.
We are excited to share that we have seven soccer teams this year. View their schedules below and come cheer them on!

It's that time of year again! Please send all photos that you would like to share with our Communications or Yearbook staff to:

*Please do not shrink photo/file size before sending*
