Fort Bend ISD's Special Education Department is collaborating with area businesses and community groups to present a Summer Resource Fair on Sat., March 2 for Fort Bend County families of children with disabilities. The free event takes place at Clements High School, from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.

Virtual Drive - Driver Education Course

Governor Greg Abbott's State of the State address this week included several emergency agenda items, including school finance reform, school safety, and an expansion of mental health support. Fort Bend ISD's Collaborative Communities team hosted its 2019 Partnerships Appreciation Breakfast to thank individuals who generously give of their time and resources to support our students and staff year after year. The partners represent the many business, community and interfaith groups that work jointly with FBISD schools, providing wraparound services to help the District develop our young people.

Thirteen Fort Bend ISD students have been named 2019 candidates for the U.S Presidential Scholars Program, which recognizes the nation's most distinguished high school students. They are among nearly 161 students named this year.

Dulles High School's Science Bowl team bested more than two dozen teams to win the regional competition, held at Texas A&M University last month. The team now advances to national competition, to be held in Washington D.C. April 25-29, where they will be among 62 other high school teams from across the nation.

Fort Bend ISD congratulates all of the high school athletes who took part in National Signing Day 2019. Fifty-four (54) players representing all 11 FBISD high schools signed National Letters of Intent to play sports at their chosen colleges and universities. The students were honored today during a ceremony at FBISD's Wheeler Field House.
