Eastside Networking Event -
Tuesday, November 27th
5:30 PM - 7:30 PM

Eastside Networking will be at Earl's Kitchen this month! Come meet other young professionals in the civil engineering field with good drinks and food.

As always, YMF will provide appetizers for munching on.

If you have any questions or concerns please email Eamaan.
Westside Networking Event -
Thursday, November 29th
5:00 PM - 7:00 PM

Join the Seattle YMF for the November westside networking event!  In a couple short years, the Beer Hall has become a Queen Anne staple, attracting guests with its spacious layout and European-style table seating. A  featured story  in the Stranger in 2016 confirmed as much and the buzz has only  gotten better  since. Come and experience a taste of the old world and fear not, Ye Olde YMF will be providing appetizers throughout the evening.

If you have any questions or concerns please email Matt.
Student CEE Office Tours: Volunteers Needed

ASCE YMF would like to present an opportunity for Seattle U and UW students to tour local civil engineering firms. This is a great chance to explain what you do right from the comfort of your office.

If you are interested in volunteering your company for an office tour, please contact Bianca Casem.
Student Lunch and Learn Presenters - Volunteers Needed

The University of Washington ASCE Student Chapter is seeking lunch and learn speakers to present on topics including (but not limited to) civil engineering career paths, projects and technical challenges, or general professional development tips for the students. This would be a great opportunity to showcase your firm, network with UW students, and market career openings. The ASCE student chapter will arrange the location of the presentation somewhere on the UW campus, while lunches are typically company sponsored.

If you are interested please contact Peter Deng.
If you didn't volunteer for ^^ those then consider this one...

POPSICLE STICK BRIDGE, fondly referred to as PSB.

This is one of the YMF's largest events, and our largest K-12 outreach event all year.

YMF is looking for volunteers for the planning of the event as well as for the day of event. If anyone is interested, please email [email protected] with subject line "PSB Volunteering."
UW's Fall Social -

ASCE YMF Holiday Party! FlatStick Pub
Tuesday, December 4th
5:00 PM - 8:00 PM
Flatstick Pub in Pioneer Square

Fore! Please come join the YMF for the annual Holiday Party at Flatstick Pub in Pioneer Square from 5pm-8pm on Tuesday, December 4th. Since opening in 2016 , Flatstick in Pioneer Square has not only lived up to the high expectations of its Kirkland originator, it's surpassed it with a 9 hole mini-golf course twice the size of the former, an equally challenging 9 hole duffle board course, and the consistent presence of Manu's Tacos serving authentic street tacos, guacamole, and nachos. Both Eastside and Westside YMF networking groups come together for this event and will be providing some of Manu's Mexican fare, some outside food, and Prizes!

Yes, for the Holiday Party, prizes of varying value will be aplenty. No reservations needed for this tournament - come one, come all, for this golf day where you'll (hopefully) always be able to find your ball. And greenskeepers fear not - no gophers allowed on this golf course.

All are welcome, and don't forget to bring a toy to donate for Toys For Tots, you'll not only receive an extra raffle ticket to be entered for the great giveaways, you'll be helping bring a smile to a child in need this holiday season.

December Volunteering Event - Greenlake Pathway of Lights
Saturday, December 8th
5:00 PM - 7:30 PM

Get into the holiday spirit with YMF as we help light up the night for the annual  Greenlake Pathway of Lights, featuring over 2500 candles, music, activity booths, and hot cocoa! We will be working as Candle Re-lighters and Litter Patrol on Saturday 12/8 from 5pm - 7:30pm at  Greenlake. Dress warmly and be prepared to have a jolly good time.

If interested, please email Shirley, ideally by November 26 as there are limited spots available and it's a popular event!
