A Lesson in Making a Point.
Current exhibiting artist Catherine Kirkland joined the Cultural Art Division at City Hall on October 18 for an opening reception of your solo exhibit, "What's the Point?". The exhibit showcases Kirkland's modern approach to Pointillism.

As part of the reception, Kirkland gave a demonstration of how she creates her work using various sizes of wooden dowels to create colorful layers of dots. These dots then create vivid images of comets and the cosmos.
Kirkland's work will be on display at City Hall through January 11.
