As the nights grow long and the air grows cold, the Haunted History Trail of New York State awakens with excitement. The spooky stops along our trail are home to the best in ghostly tales, haunted events, and paranormal entertainment - and we know our ghosts would agree. With over 80 haunted spots scattered across the state, we invite you to pay a visit, dine in, stay the night, and survive as the spirits surround you...
Spooky Stories & New Nightmares

Our trail keeps growing, and the spooky stories surrounding our haunts do too. This year we welcomed The Paddock Mansion, built in Watertown, NY in 1878. The Paddocks were primarily bankers and business entrepreneurs, and are considered one of the founding families of Watertown. Perhaps that's why Olive Paddock never really left - she is said to appear in her bedroom upstairs and in the front parlor.

Whether you want to wander through a cemetery, tour a haunted mansion, or join a hunt for the dead - we've got creepy, spooky, and downright terrifying haunts happening across our trail.
