CPR LifeLinks Implementation Toolkit Open for Public Feedback and Comments 
CPR LifeLinks , a national initiative to help communities save more lives through the implementation of telecommunicator CPR and high-performance CPR programs is underway. A draft of the CPR LifeLinks Implementation Toolkit, a how-to guide for EMS and 911 agencies interested in implementing programs to improve cardiac arrest survival rates in communities across the nation, is now available. The draft is open to public comment until October 1, 2018 via this form. For more information, see page 1 and information on the September 26 webinar on page 2.

HHS Awards $125 Million to Support Quality Improvement

In August, U.S. Department of Health and Human Services announced $125 million in Quality Improvement grant awards to 1,352 community health centers across all U.S. states, territories and the District of Columbia. Learn more of page 6.
ARCHIVED WEBINAR: Trick or Trach: Taking the Fright Out of Tracheostomy Care for EMS Providers
The team at SSMHealth Cardinal Glennon Children's Hospital presented information about their Special Needs Tracking & Awareness Response System (STARS) program followed by very important information on the prehospital treatment of children with a tracheostomy. We encourage wide spread dissemination of this well-done webinar that was presented September 6, 2018. The incumbent will provide national leadership in planning, directing, coordinating, monitoring and evaluating national programs that focus on perinatal, infant and early childhood health. Within DHVECS, resides the Maternal, Infant and Early Childhood Home Visiting (MIECHV) Program and other maternal, infant and early childhood related investments. The vacancy announcement is posted as both a Supervisory Public Health Analyst and a Supervisory Medical Officer.
