KSLA Day in Frankfort - February 7, 2019
KSLA Day in Frankfort will be Thursday, February 7, 2019. The schedule has changed and will be as follows:

  • 8:00 - 9:30 a.m. in the Capitol Annex, Room 171: Kelley Abell with The Rotunda Group will meet with our group to give instructions for your visits with Senators and Representatives. In addition, we plan to have Senate and House leadership address our group during this time.

  • 10 a.m. - Noon: Visits with Senators and Representatives in their offices in the Capitol Annex

  • Noon - 12:30 p.m. in the Capitol Annex, Room 169: House Health & Family Services Committee Meeting

  • 12:30 - 2 p.m. in the Capitol Annex, Room 131: Catered lunch

Make plans to go for this enjoyable, informative, important networking opportunity. But get there early, we're told by Kelley Abell, our lobbyist from The Rotunda Group, that security is tighter and takes longer to get through than ever before! Therefore, plan to arrive no later than 7:45 a.m. so that you can get through security and arrive in room 171 no later than 8:00. We expect the first speaker to begin at 8:30.

So that we may give accurate numbers to the caterer for lunch, please RSVP to Rebecca@KentuckySeniorLiving.org no later than Monday, February 4 if you plan to join us for "KSLA Day in Frankfort."

One last thing, be on the lookout for instructions on how to make appointments with your Senators and Representatives. We'll send this information to you prior to February 7.
