Women's Bible Study

This year's study is  God's Promise: I Am With You .  God's most frequent promise in the Bible is 
'I will be with you'. Join us as we explore scripture to learn the many ways that God is with us - wherever we are and throughout our lives. Taught by Pastor Kyle. Books are $10, see Pastor Kyle to purchase.

Jesus Calling
at K'Tizo 
4th Thursday of the month at 9:30 a.m.
We do a mind and body centering practice, read from a Jesus Calling Devotion, read 2-3 scriptures and then
have open small group discussion. Please join
us and bring a friend!

Pastor Neal will preach as part of our Generations sermon series on the value of Devoted Community. He serves the Village Presbyterian Church in Rancho Santa Fe, CA and is an Adjunct Assistant Professor of Worship at Fuller Theological Seminary. From 2012-2014, he was elected as the Moderator of the 220th General Assembly of the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.). Dr. Presa is also the Vice Chairman of the Board for the Presbyterian Church Foundation. His passions in life and ministry are, "to know Christ, to be known by Christ, and to invite others to know Christ."

The Five Love Languages

This Adult Ed class is for everyone - singles, couples, teens, and grandparents.  Learn HOW to love the people in your life in a way that they can fully receive the message. You'll be inspired by real-life stories and find humor as our actors role play examples of the five Love Languages. Find out what your favorite love language is and the favorite love languages of the people close to you. Applying these truths will forever change your relationships. Participants are encouraged to get a copy of the book.  Led by Maryanne Kyle & Angela Stephenson.

This Bible study combines Seeking God First, Being Loved by God & Loving Others and Honoring God with Your Body. Kirkin has evolved to be a celebration of
the Protestant heritage of the Presbyterian tradition within Christianity-for everyone, regardless of ancestral background. Even non-Presbyterian churches now celebrate with a Kirkin. Everyone is invited to become involved. 
Scottish ancestry not required! We still have a few tartans waiting for volunteers to participate in the March of the Tartans to be held on Reformation Sunday. Call Emily at (630) 544-9293 for more information and to volunteer .

Roseland 'Good News' Day Care Center
We continue to collect diapers, wipes, baby food and formula, infant and children's clothing - all sizes, toys, adult clothing, and household items. Food Pantry
Our food pantries need diapers in sizes 5 & 6; however, whatever sizes you have available will be appreciated. Grocery items needed include peanut butter, jelly (all flavors), cooking oil, condiments, fruit cocktail, apple juice, grape juice, orange juice, and cleaning supplies. Your donations are appreciated.
