Former UWindsor board chair nominated to lead Rotary International
Alumna Jennifer Jones BA' 91 and former UWindsor Board of Governors Chair has been nominated to become the first woman president of Rotary International.

A member of the Rotary Club of Windsor-Roseland since 1997 and currently a trustee of the Rotary Foundation, she has held a number of positions with the service organization, which boasts 1,200,000 members worldwide. Continue reading.
Local comedy feature lands distributors
The award-winning comedy feature Boys vs. Girls, produced by UWindsor instructors Mike Stasko BA '02 and Theodore Bezaire BA' 02, will be distributed in Canada by Mongrel Media and internationally by Gravitas Ventures.

Shot entirely in Windsor-Essex, the film won awards during its festival run, including Best Feature Film and Audience Choice at the Chicago Comedy Film Festival, Best Canadian Feature at the Canadian International Comedy Film Festival, and Best Ensemble Cast at the Florida Comedy Film Festival. Career Development and Experiential Learning is looking for professionals to host students for the Virtual Job Shadow Experience. This career development initiative helps UWindsor students better understand how to connect their studies to the workplace, allowing them to gain a clearer picture of their goals after graduation.
