Final Weekend!
October 12 - November 4

Lawrence Jameson makes his lavish living by talking rich ladies out of their money. Freddy Benson more humbly swindles women by waking their compassion with fabricated stories about his grandmother's failing health. After meeting on a train, they attempt to work together, only to find that their small town isn't big enough for both of them. They agree on a settlement - the first one to extract $50,000 from their mutual target, young heiress Christine Colgate, wins, and the other must leave town.

Sophisticated, suave, and with a good dash of mischief, this thoroughly entertaining musical features a delightfully jazzy score and was nominated for eleven Tony Awards.

One of Rogers & Hammerstein's fines works, The King and I boasts a score that features such beloved classics as "Getting to Know You",  "Hello Young Lovers", and "Shall We Dance."  Set in 1860s Bangkok, the musical tells the story of the unconventional and tempestuous relationship that develops between the King of Siam and Anna Leonowens, a British schoolteacher whom the modernist king in an imperialistic world, brings to Siam to teach his many wives and children.

Nominated for six Tony Awards, and winning 2, The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee features an eclectic group of sixth graders who arrive at a fictional spelling bee set in the geographically ambiguous Putnam Valley Middle School to vie for the spelling championship of a lifetime. While candidly disclosing hilarious and touching stories from their home lives, the tweens spell their way through a series of (potentially made-up) words, hoping never to hear the soul-crushing, pout-inducing, life un-affirming "ding" of the bell that signals a spelling mistake. Six spellers enter - one speller leaves! At least the losers get a juice box!

Old Jews Telling Jokes showcases five actors in a comedy that pays tribute to and reinvents classic jokes of the past and present.  It celebrates the rich tradition of Jewish humor "and all the rabbis, complaining wives, fed-up husbands, patience-challenged physicians, gossiping ladies and competitive men" populating it. The humor can be suggestive (sometimes even raunchy) as the 'Old Jews' make fun of themselves as well as followers of every other religion.
