City Reminds Residents to Slow Down for Wild Burros
The City of Moreno Valley recently released a public service announcement video to remind residents to steer clear of the wild burros that roam Moreno Valley and the surrounding areas.

Every year, burros crossing roads in search of food and water are hit by cars, and injured or killed.

These wild burros are becoming more and more acclimated to cars due to people who illegally hand feed them.

The City of Moreno Valley would like to remind residents that these burros are wild animals. Please keep your distance, and slow down when traveling near them.  Feeding wild burros is illegal.

If you happen to come across an injured burro, please call 911. Animal Control Officers will be sent out to help the animal.
