The Love Your Library art exhibit Closing Reception will occur on Friday, Feb. 15, 4-5:30pm on the Mezzanine Gallery to mark the end of the 6-week public art show by local artists.
The Love Your Library Open House on Saturday, Feb. 16, 12-2pm celebrates all the wonderful gifts NWPL provides to our community and coincides with “National Love Your Library” month. 
AARP's Elliott Greenblott will present "Scams, Fraud & Con-Artists," part of a public information program entitled Fraud Watch. The objective of the program is to educate Vermonters in combating the ever-increasing assault from con artists by phone, mail, on-line and in person. Tuesday, Feb. 19, 6-7:15pm
The NWPL Art Committee will host Stefan Winnicki's "Vermont Seasons" art exhibit Opening Reception on Friday, Feb. 22, 4-5:30 . Stefan paints Vermont scenes including wildlife & landscapes. Works include smooth faded skies or blurry backgrounds upon which more detailed elements are overlaid.
On Monday, Feb. 25, 5-7pm , Vermont Secretary of State Jim Condos will speak about his goals during his present term, the importance of transparency in government, and his work to achieve secure voting processes as the current President of The National Association of Secretaries of State. A Q&A period will follow. Hosted by Women for a Change, this event is free and open to the public.
American comics creator and author Jason Lutes will be here on Tuesday, Feb. 26, 6-7:30pm to speak about his latest book BERLIN, an intricate look at the fall of the Weimar Republic through the eyes of its citizens. Hosted by the Yankee Bookshop. Copies of BERLIN will be available for purchase.
