Any one of these reasons could be a good starting point for a conversation with a client - or a renter you know who could enjoy all of these benefits as a home owner.

There's an easy way by which you can reinforce your value, and illustrate your real estate expertise - present " 7 Reasons to Own a Home" to your buyers and sellers with a customized hand-out that is already written for you!

Facebook Lead Ads

Today, more than 80 percent of Internet users are active on Facebook.

The people you can reach by way of Facebook are considered willing participants; in this case, buyers, sellers, and fence sitters who eagerly await informative posts about their community - presenting a perfect opportunity for REALTORS who aim to build their businesses (lead generation) through relationship building.

Unlock the Door - Please Share your Stories!

The stories have started coming in!

We are hearing from REALTORS® from around the state about how the inventory crisis across Washington has severely impacted affordable ownership.

If you have a story to share about the obstacles one of your clients has faced, we want to hear it! Please take a minute and submit it now.

Did you know that according to the Washington Center for Real Estate Research, first-time buyers in King, Snohomish, Pierce and Kittitas Counties face home prices that are nearly double what they can afford?

In many cases we need our own local officials to help solve this crisis, but the state's legislature must play a role as well. To help do that, we need to educate our elected officials about how the lack of affordable housing impacts the residents of our state. So, we are reaching out to REALTORS® across Washington to collect stories that explain how every part of the housing market is affected by this severe lack of inventory.

Sharing these stories from constituents will be a powerful tool to help us motivate state legislators to focus on this critical issue that impacts homeowners and renters, as well as the ability of REALTORS® to help their clients buy and sell property.

Thank you,

Jerry Martin, President
Washington REALTORS®
