ACE TENNIS has joined forces with Mike Donski to expand his 40Love Tennis program [ an after school tennis initiative] that he co-founded. The new initiative has been named
Future Aces and aims to give children
grade 1-8 the opportunity to play tennis at their own school with an after school tennis program under the guidance of ACE coaches.
Mike is also ACE's new Fitness Director and Head Coach of the Progressive 1 programs in Burlington.
The initiative will be introduced to the Halton region and in Toronto by Tennis Canada certified coaches from ACE Tennis at the Cedar Springs Health Racquet and Sportsclub in Burlington and in Toronto by coaches from ACE Toronto Tennis City.
The program promises to be dynamic and focuses on physical skills development, engagement and fun. The Fall, Winter and Spring programs run once a week right after school in the school's gymnasium, for 8-12 weeks, and is also offered during PD Day, Christmas, March Break and Summer season as a full day program.
Beginner and intermediate players learn the basic tennis techniques and strategy while applying their skills in interactive games and drills. The program concludes with a mini tournament and prizes.
The aim is to provide parents the convenience of having their child's sport activity at their school, thus not having to drive them to a separate location. Furthermore, the peace of mind that is provided to parents knowing that their child is taking part in a structured program, lead by qualified, dedicated coaches and geared towards developing key physical and social skills is what Future Aces prides itself on offering. The program also opens up to the opportunity of identifying talent.

To introduce kids to physical activity and the sport of tennis while being surrounded by their friends in a structured and captivating environment, and allow kids to explore their interests while setting foundations for a healthy lifestyle.
