"We praise you, O God, we acclaim you as Lord; the glorious company of Apostles praise you."
Message from the Principal
Dear Families and Friends,

This week you will be receiving your student’s progress report for Quarter 1. With just three weeks left in the quarter, it is important for our families to see how their students are performing. Last week I went into the sixth grade study halls, explaining to them the importance of using the planners that we order our students each year. After all, knowing what the homework is and then completing the homework is half the journey to success. Several students have already taken advantage of the tutoring offered by our teachers, but if you feel your student may need additional help, please do not hesitate to reach out to your student’s teachers for more guidance. Next Friday, we will be releasing our Sign-Up Genius links to our families so that you can schedule your Parent-Teacher Conferences, which are scheduled for October 17 and 18 from 3:00-7:00 p.m. Additional conferences may also need to be scheduled outside these times.

Since we only have three weeks left in the quarter, that also means we only have three weeks left until our annual Walk-A-Thon. Walk-A-Thon will be held on October 12, and we still have quite a bit to raise to meet our school goal. Please know that no amount given is too small. We would like to see every student do his or her part. If you have any questions, do not hesitate to ask.

Finally, we would like to once again thank Price Brothers Construction for their amazing work installing our new lockers into eleven classrooms this past weekend. Our students and teachers could not be happier!

God bless!

Mrs. Ramos

Safe and Sacred Training

We would like to remind all our families wishing to help with activities where our students are present that individuals must have completed the Safe and Sacred online training and completed a background check in order to volunteer or to serve as chaperones for a field trip. Please understand that until the certificate and background check are on file, we cannot, per the Archdiocese of Indianapolis, allow individuals to volunteer or work as employees of the school without this training and background check completed. If you completed your Safe and Sacred training, but did not complete the background check, simply log in to your account with your password and press the background check to complete the entire process. If you completed your training over a year ago or are unsure of your status, please log in to your Safe and Sacred account to see whether your training and background check are current. All Safe and Sacred certificates will have an expiration date on them, allowing your training to be valid for three years.
