Work continues on E Ave, with the focus shifting to preparing for the winter off-season.

The contractor is currently working on paving a new roadway surface between 80th St and Rock Valley.  They are also removing old pavement and installing new storm sewer between Rock Valley and Limerock. Storm sewer pipes convey rain and groundwater away from homes and neighborhoods. Residents in the Blue Stone neighborhood will have one lane open at all times at the intersection of E Ave and Blue Stone (motorists can use an alternating traffic pattern when approaching the intersection).

The contractor will not begin reconstructing any additional segments this late in the year. All roads will be open before the winter shutdown, including the section between the east side of Limerock to 80th St NW.

Looking ahead, the project will continue next spring. We will send additional communication once a timeline is established and we know an approximate start date for work next spring.
