Recent bride's "I do" experience at the Inn at Haven Harbour

Kimberly Gibson, formerly Penny, tied the knot with her now husband Tyler at our Inn at Haven Harbour last Saturday, August 24.
"I picked the location because of how beautiful the marina is," mentioned the recent bride. "I wanted to share my favorite place with all of my guests who were traveling and never get to see this little slice of paradise."
The Gibson wedding marks Haven Harbour's twelfth ceremony since opening the venue summer 2016.
Kim, 25, is still processing last weekend's events, but happily shared a few of her favorites from the day.
"There are too many things to count," she said. "My most favorite might have to be seeing how much fun the kiddos had on the moon bounce, but I equally enjoyed taking pictures on our grandfather's boat, the Susie Q. We have had wonderful memories on there and it was so meaningful to be able to include that in our photos."
Marina management and staff strive for a custom wedding experience, no matter the scope or size.
"I was beyond pleased with the venue, staff and accommodations," she added. "The rooms were absolutely beautiful, my bridal party and guests were so impressed with the decor. Every single time I looked out the window, there was someone from the marina out on the lawn checking to make sure our tent and decorations were flawless, and the white 'beer boat' was the perfect touch."
When asked if she would recommend the Inn at Haven Harbour to a friend, here's what the newlywed had to say.
"I would, without a doubt, recommend Haven Harbour as a wedding venue. The staff is so thoughtful and will make sure her day is ideal. I stopped by on Thursday and Friday before the ceremony to drop a few items off and I could not believe how many people were working to make the lawn, the Cottage and gazebo spotless. It meant so much to me. Plus, pictures are always better on the water," she said.

The Haven Yacht Club's annual silent auction

Coinciding with our annual Slipholder Appreciation Party and Crab Feast, The Haven Yacht Club invites all to their annual silent auction happening September 21, 2019 from noon - 3 p.m. The event will be held at Haven Harbour Marina's Reception Center and is open to Haven Harbour Marina Resorts slipholders, guests and the general public.
The auction serves as one of THYC's philanthropic endeavors, with a main financial focus centered on raising funds for the Club's Susan Scovill Memorial Scholarship.
Numerous themed baskets are being created for auctioning. Slipholders are invited to create one of their own for donating, with themes including cooking, party, art and more.
